You know its not everyday that we get to see things such as the passing of the Olympic torch and truthfully I didn’t think I would see it either (not in person anyways). But yesterday was different. I had to go into New Westminster to run a few errands and I noticed that the there was a lot of people hanging around on the sides of the streets. It didn’t take me long to figure out they were waiting for the Olympic torch to come by them. I quickly grabbed my camera (good thing I had it with me) and found a spot on the street along side everyone else. I have to say it was definitely something to see; whether you are a fan of the Olympics or not, being able to witness something like the running and the passing of the torch is special – its not something we will see again. So I thought I would share some pf the photos I caught last minute with you. ENJOY!
Here comes the RBC and Coke trucks to get the crowd pumped up.

Here comes the torch!!!

Heading down the street to pass the torch on…

I love this one and how they high five each other (my fav)

He was soooo happy to have the torch and you can see it in his face.

A thumbs up to the crowd.

Not much to say about this
