What can we say…. we have been together for the past 11 years and finally decided to get married not too long ago. We both grew up in Port Coquitlam and absolutely love it here, don’t know why, but we do. What can you find us doing in our spare time, well taking pictures of course, but other than that we love to go out on the motorcycle and find some unique places and just explore our great country and our neighboring country the U.S. of A. When not out on the motorcycle you can find us out for a walk or enjoying the company of each other or friends and family; we try to stay active as much as possible. What else? We have a dog, who is like our child. She is an 8 year old husky/ cross and she is absolutely beautiful.

How did we come to be the owners of Purple Rose Photography Inc.? Well my absolute favorite color is purple, hence Purple in our name and well, roses are a beautiful flower. That’s our name; yah, it’s just that simple. We love taking wedding photographs and portraits. We mostly do a lifestyle type session for our portraits, but we also occasionally do some in-home studio work. To us documenting families how they are with each other and not staging them is far better.

What happens when you contact us? We start by making sure the day is available and if so fantastic! We will answer any of your questions, but we do like to set up an in person meeting with you. We usually find a neutral spot to meet, over coffee, we find, works best This is where we can show you a couple of our albums and we can all get a chance to meet and chat. This way you can see if we are a good match for you. You’ll find that Jamie is the quiet one and I am more chatty
